WHAT ARE THE WORLD TOUR CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS?

The World Tour Camp offer an immersive global education experience preparing children to successfully navigate today’s globalization and thrive in their own community. Students explore all aspect of living and life somewhere in the world as they prepare to take on the world, to expand their views, to celebrate other cultures and to make meaningful contributions to society as they go on to empower other kids around the world through our collaboration with UNICEF Children.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Parents can independently enroll students. Also schools and organisations can contact us to deliver a private experience to their students or youth groups.

WHAT ARE PARTICIPANTS LEARNING AT THE CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS ?

To support students’ academic excellence, we tailored our learning approach based on the US department of Education Global Competencies Framework.

Diplomats: Younger kids learn about their placed in the world and the society as they get initiated to the concept of community and institutions. They build emerging socio-emotional skills, focusing on empathy, cooperation, and problem solving. They start developing global awareness through exposure to diverse cultures, histories, languages and perspectives.

Officers: Elementary school kids learn at the country level, about cultures and etiquettes, deepening their global awareness through a more detailed exposure to diverse cultures, histories, languages and perspectives. They get introduced to age-appropriate civic engagement and learning activities as well.

Ambassadors: Middle and high school students’ learning experience calls for a stronger socio-emotional and leadership skills development with an emphasis on multi-cultural understanding and working with diverse groups including professional settings. They develop a deeper local and global knowledge and understanding through projects-based activities, and virtual exchange activities, pertaining to key civic and global issues.

The World Tour Camp offer an immersive global education experience preparing children to successfully navigate today’s globalization and thrive in their own community. Students explore all aspects of living and life somewhere in the world as they prepare to take on the world, to expand their views, to celebrate other cultures and to make meaningful contributions to society by empower other kids around the world through the UNICEF Kid Power program and our contributions to the improvement of schools in the Rural Area of Africa.

HOW IS TGA INC. GIVING BACK TO COMMUNITY?

Proceeds from our activities and events go to supporting our programs, ending global malnutrition and improving education in the rural areas of Africa.

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH HOMESICKNESS?

We offer day camps or workshops. Students get to return to the comfort of their homes everyday.

WHERE IS THE CAMP SITE?

Camps and workshops locations may vary when the sessions are open to the public. We will come to our partners locations for all private sessions.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MUCH MY KID CAN BRING WITH THEM?

Children do not need to bring any items with them during our camps except for their breakfast and lunch if they cannot eat from the cultural menu planned for the camp.
